About Nick Green
Funnily enough, I often find facts from these pages appearing elsewhere on the web, whenever someone is kind enough to blog about me, for example. Be warned: not all of the facts below are true. You have been warned.
Full name: Nick Alan Green. Parents and elder relatives still call me Nicholas.
Cats' names: Smokey and Jasper, though in the house the ghost of the late Red still lingers and knocks things off shelves.
Kids: Two, and that's enough now I think.
Previous jobs: Washer-upper, tiger groom, oboeist for hire.
Most interesting hobby: Fencing. (As in duelling with swords, not putting up fences.)
Also into: Horse riding, falling off, horse racing (to watch only), science & space, strange music from bygone ages, 24, Doctor Who, Porcupine Tree (a band), the oboe, and the occasional good night's sleep.
Place of residence: I flit between an inconspicuous backstreet in Hertfordshire, a safehouse somewhere in the North of England, and a mansion located at the tip of the Bermuda Triangle.
Favourite film: The Lord of the Rings trilogy. (Trivia fact: one of my friends was an orc extra. I’m told you can see him just after Grond smashes the gate of Minas Tirith).
Favourite reading: Find out about it HERE.
Shameless name-dropping: I was at school with Matt Lucas of Little Britain fame. But I try not to mention it more than three times in any conversation.
Favourite comet: Hale-Bopp.
